Matthew is a co-founder of CEC and the founder and current president of the University of Virginia Esports Program. Drawing from his experience in founding and competing with Cannon School’s hallmark high school esports program, he recognized the potential for structured collegiate esports and took the initiative to establish UVA’s program from the ground up. Matthew has spearheaded efforts in program expansion, player development, and developing strategic funding initiatives for a six-figure esports facility project that is currently underway at the University. At UVA, he is a student at the McIntire School of Commerce where he is double majoring in Finance and Management of IT, while pursuing minors in Entrepreneurship and Leadership.

Chase is a co-founder of Collective Esports Company (CEC) and has been actively involved in esports for over five years. His passion for competitive gaming and program development led him to play a key role in shaping Cannon School’s esports program, transforming it into a model for high school-level competition. In addition to his work in program development, Chase has successfully produced and managed numerous esports events at the regional level, overseeing tournament logistics, team coordination, and event execution. His expertise in both competition management and organizational strategy has contributed to the growth of high school and collegiate esports initiatives. He currently attends Virginia Tech, where he is studying Finance and Real Estate, leveraging his business acumen to further advance the esports industry.

Tram is the IT Manager and Esports Director at Cannon School. With over 22 years of experience working in AD agencies and education, Esports has always followed suit. After his successful development of Cannon’s Esports program, he knew Esports had a promising future, and Co-founded CEC.
